Task guides
Send an invoice by email
Step-by-step task guide: Invoicing and dunning.
- Finalize the invoice first. Only a finalized invoice with its PDF stored can be sent.
- Open the invoice. In the Sending section choose Send by email.
- Check Recipients: one or more email addresses separated by commas, at most 10. Add CC or BCC if you want, and tick the box to get a copy yourself.
- Adjust Subject and Message. The text comes ready-made in the language of the invoice. The attached files are listed below the message.
- Choose Send now. The mail is queued and the list below the form shows each send with its status, such as Waiting to send, Sent or Undeliverable.
- If the client has no contact email in the settings, the app warns you that the customer's replies reach nobody. Add it there first.
- If a send shows that it was interrupted and it is unclear whether the mail arrived, check with the customer before you send again.
