Chats with the agent: history, who sees them, deleting
Step-by-step task guide: AI agent.
- Everyone who may chat has chats; see the page on who can use the agent. A chat belongs to one client (the company shown at the top left) and to the person who started it.
- Click New chat to start one. Earlier chats are listed under Chats in the left menu, the most recently active first, up to 100. Click one to read it and carry on. The list only appears once a chat exists.
- A chat is named after your first message in it. The app has no button to rename or delete a chat.
- Who sees them: you see your own chats. A Firm owner or Firm admin also sees everyone's chats about the client. Other roles never see another person's chat.
- Chats are kept for the audit trail and are not erased. Conversations, their files and the log entries stay on record; a chat that has been removed from the list is hidden, not destroyed. If you need data erased, tell your firm's owner; the chat list cannot do it.
- If you see "This conversation could not be saved and will not be here after a reload", copy what you need now. Your question may still have been answered.
- For a long chat the agent reads only the most recent part of it, so repeat an important detail if the chat has become long, or start a New chat.
