Task guides
Which languages the agent speaks
Step-by-step task guide: AI agent.
- Everyone who may chat has this; there is nothing to switch on. The agent works in German, English and Chinese (Simplified).
- By default it answers in the language of the app (set under the language choice of the app). It replies in the language you write to it in, and if you ask it to switch, it switches for the rest of that chat.
- You can mix languages in one message. Names, invoice numbers and search words are passed on exactly as you typed them, in any script. If a name finds nothing, the agent tries its other form once, for example the Latin name of a Chinese company.
- Chinese app language: amounts like 1.2万 or 3亿 and dates like 2026年3月1日 or 上个月 are understood. German and English dates and amounts are understood too (1.234,50 and 1,234.50). In German, "gebucht" and "geprüft" are understood as booking states; in Chinese, 已过账 and 已审核.
- In English and in Chinese, the agent adds the German accounting term in brackets the first time, for example document (Beleg). It never translates data: names of suppliers, invoice numbers, addresses, document text, account numbers, amounts, dates, and terms such as SKR03, DATEV and ELSTER stay as they are.
- A draft letter to a supplier for a missing receipt is always written in German (Sie form), whatever language you chat in. Check it, or have it translated, before you send it.
- Fixed notices (limits, errors, "AI-generated") appear in the app language. The help pages are available in German, English and Chinese.
