Task guides
Warnings at the top of every page (stale bank data, VAT return overdue)
Step-by-step task guide: Settings and security.
- Two warnings can appear at the top of every page of a client, at most two at a time: stale bank data and an overdue VAT return.
- Stale bank data: No bank line since a date on an account: the newest line is a number of days old. It means the newest imported line of that account is old, so the books may be missing money. Choose Open accounts, then import the latest statement.
- VAT return overdue: The VAT return for a period was due on a date and is not filed yet. Choose Open tax. The date is unverified: a permanent extension of the filing deadline is not taken into account, so check with the tax advisor. The app does not file anything for you.
- A warning goes away by itself once its cause is gone, after the statement is imported or the return is filed.
